i didnt find an audio forum so i think im going to put this in here. anyway, one day my stereo wouldnt turn on and i figured it was just cause of the cold (first winter with a dub didnt know how it reacts) so i put it off, so then a week goes by, then a month, and its been about 2 months with no sound, im just wondering what could be the issue? im thinkin it might just be a bad connector or something but i dont know and would it be cheaper for me to just buy a new deck if it is the cd player that is the problem?

Check your radio fuse on the fuse block first, it could be blown. Is it an aftermarket radio? If not it may be best to just buy a new unit, or if it is check the fuse on the back of the radio itself there are sometimes 2, 1 on the unit and 1 in line with the constant wire. Hope it works for you.
